Living in New England, I have no hesitation as to what I will do!
Will post the results later!
East=New England. My response is here http://finishinglinesbyksperino.blogspot.com/2010/01/creative-cue.html
I am primarily a quilter so I’m thinking I need to do these cues in another form. I’m going to try something with paper, possibly a journal book. Hmm, the sun is rising in the east on a brand new day. Time to catch those first rays dawning!
My initial response to the cue is here http://amandajsheridan.blogspot.com/2010/01/creative-cue.html although I have no doubt that these will be the starting point for other work in the future.
I didn’t know what form to take with this, but decided today that this would be the best way to fit this into the meandering path of what I do. This was fun exercise and I look forward to following along as the weeks go by…

I’ve decided not to continue participating in this challenge, but wish everyone lots of inspiration and creativity.
Here is my one and only contribution!!

I’ve posted my “EAST” sketch on my blog.

This is an interesting challenge. I hope to be able to participate frequently. It will definitely spur some new creative paths, as this first cue had me looking at a subject I hadn’t considered before.

When I am asked to come up with an idea concerning a certain theme I usually have a problem. That’s why I decided to follow your challenge. Sometimes I may be able to create a small piece, sometimes it may make me think of possible ideas only. But that is sufficient for me. Thank you for your creative cues.
For “East” I made a postcard.
Hey Terri, so glad to finally meet you in person! Just wanted to show you the ‘start’ on my first word prompt at my blog. Please take a look: http://sewartfullyminded.blogspot.com/2010/01/first-word-cue-east.html
I’ll see if I can get it finished and then start on the next one! Guess I need to get it figured out in my head what day works best to work on this project. I see ‘HEEL’ comes next . . .
Terri, just wanted to share what I have started with the ‘EAST’ word cue so far: http://sewartfullyminded.blogspot.com/2010/01/first-word-cue-east.html
I was busy watching ‘Chuck’ on NBC tv tonight so didn’t get it finished yet. I know, I know . . . I need to decide upon the day to actually commit to doing the cues so I don’t wait till the last minute and run into conflicts like this. I’ll post the final result when it’s done.
